Seth and Allison had a gorgeously coordinated wedding. Thankfully they hired Kellye at Engagements - Wedding & Event Planning. I've worked with Louisville Wedding Planners before and sometimes it works out well... sometimes it doesn't. Kellye was wonderful to work with and she had all the details planned. It was great to work with someone so professional!
My day began with Seth and his family at the Galt House in Downtown Louisville. From there, I headed to The Brown Hotel, also in Downtown Louisville. Both are gorgeous and historic locations. I got to work with Lindsey Sweeney as the makeup artist for this wedding. She's an incredible makeup artist in the Louisville area! I will always recommend her! My very pickiest clients have always been happy with her as their makeup artist.... just sayin.
After getting ready, we headed to Old Louisville to spend some time at St. James Court for our first look photos and a few formals.
After that, we headed to our ceremony venue at Churchill Downs. They booked the Kentucky Derby Museum for their event. This was my first time photographing a wedding at this venue, it was challenging for sure from a lighting standpoint but super rewarding and such a unique Louisville wedding venue.
