This adorable couple chose to host their wedding at one of Louisville's most popular wedding venues... Mellwoood Art Center nestled neatly just outside downtown Louisville. It's one of my favorite venues, honestly. It has such great ability to transform, and they're flexible to vendors... there are great places for pics, what more could you want?
This wedding happened in November 2021, just on the end of the pandemic, and you could tell everyone was ready for a good time to celebrate family & friends.
This wedding had it all for me.... beautiful details to photograph, a father daughter first look, a 'first touch' between bride and groom (they stood back to back, not seeing each other but just talking before the wedding), ..... ahem, first time the groom dropped the ring during the ceremony.... and my favorite part, not just a first dance but a 'last dance' as husband and wife. I will seriously be recommending this to all my couples going forward. At the end of the night, Claire and Zach said goodbye to the guests, and enjoyed a last dance of the night alone..... as alone as you can be with a DJ, Photographer, Videographer..... but you get the idea. It was so sweet and touching.
This will forever remain one of my favorite weddings ever. It broke the record of most photos delivered.... :)
